Croeso! Welcome to Ynys Clydach Cottage
Built in 1740, Ynys Clydach is a beautiful stone-built cottage situated in an idyllic and secluded location on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Inside you will find an inglenook fireplace, beams and Welsh slate floors along with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and induction hob, woodburner and central heating, comfy sofas, flat screen TV, DVD, WiFi, and a luxury bathroom. To the front of the cottage there is a small enclosed garden partly laid to lawn which is dog secure (medium and large). Outside the back door andacross the farm track you will find a stream, with woodland, seating areas and views across the valley to the woods and hills beyond. For those freezing winter days and wet Welsh summer nights the property also has the use of a fantastic BBQ Lodge giving guests the opportunity to barbecue indoors all year round. Ynys Clydach is also home to a large family of bats. Visit during the summer months and watch them leave their roost in the eaves at dusk. The house, while in a fairly remote location, has easy access to the A40 which is within 1 mile. The owners live in the farmhouse at the back of the cottage, so although attached both properties are completely separate. The nearest neighbours are just across the courtyard in a separate barn. We look forward to welcoming you! Nikki and Barry |
